For more info click on the links: SHOCK RADIO or AFTER HOURS The Temptations: After completing their final album for Motown records namely 'Legacy' The Temptations went on the search for a new label after becoming dis-illusioned with life at Motown. Universal Music Enterprises have signed the group up and they are currently in the studio recording their first album for the label. The new album entitled 'Reflections' will consist of 17 Motown records that The Temptations never had the chance to record back in the label's halycon days of the 60's and 70's, this is sure to be a fantastic album with todays line up of Terry Weeks, Ron Tyson, Joe Herndon, G.C Cameron and Otis Williams testing their pipes on some of Motowns most legendary sides. The album is penned for release in Autumn of this year and as per usual seanlivesey.com will be the first to keep you upto date with progression on the album ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Willie Hutch: Legendary artist, producer and songwriter Willie Hutch passed away recently. Willie best known for his Soul anthems Brothers Gonna Work It Out, his Northern Soul gems, Love Runs Out, Lucky To Be Loved By You. Performed for the final time in the UK in March 2003 at The Togetherness weekender. He will be sadly missed ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aretha Franklin: The latest album from Aretha Franklin is due out in the next few months with it being a landmark first on her new label 'Aretha Music'. The album will feature former Temptation lead singer Dennis Edwards in a duet with Franklin to mark the passing of Ray Charles. The set is to be produced with Gordon Chambers whose current solo project 'Introducing Gordon Chambers' is doing great things across the Atlantic. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gordon Chambers: With his first album 'Introducing Gordon Chambers' doing big things across the UK and U.S Gordon Chambers is set to perform an exclusive P.A of his songs from his album at the next T.S.O.P Modern Soul event taking place on the first Friday in April. May he rest in peace. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archie Bell: Dissapointment for punters who are attending the forth-coming Togetherness Soul Weekender at the Cala Gran in Fleetwood. Philadelphia legend Archie Bell who was lined up as the headline act along with Garland Green will not be performing now. Due to an on going court case in the U.S.A American imigration are refusing to allown Archie travel to Fleetwood to perform on Saturda November 13th. But all is not lost as another Philadelphia legend has been signed up to take the place of Archie Bell. Bunny Sigler will be performing the most in -demand tracks from his extensive 60's & 70's catalogue along with all his Northern Soul favourites. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- C.P Spencer: One of the founding members of Motown's The Originals C.P Spencer passed away earlier this month from a heart attack. C.P Spencer whose tenor voice was an integral part of The Originals sound died at his Detroit home. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nathan Heathman: October was tinged with further sadness as news of Nathan Heathman's death broke to the UK.
