Sean Livesey started DJing at the age of 13 now aged 20 he's still building up his reputation as a DJ both in the UK and abroad.
Playing week in week out has given Sean the chance to build up both in-valuable experience and a solid reputation.
In terms of musical styles and tastes its fair to say Sean has a varried taste when it comes to all genres of 'Soulful' music he can play sets in anything from Rare Northern Soul, Motown and 6ts, 7ts club classics to Soulful House, Soulful Dance, Nu Soul and Classic 80's, 90's Soul music.
Along with DJing in the UK Sean has also been lucky enough to DJ in Los Angeles as part of the DJ team for the 2004 Northern Soul convention and he made his debut DJing on the continent in May 2007 as part of the Modern Room line up at the Franfkurt Soul weekender along with Terry Jones. He has also played sets at the Dpercussion music festival in Manchester on the Aftershock stage in 2005.
Along with the many Soul nights and All-Nighters Sean DJs at each year he has also performed as part of the team at the Hilton Luxury Soul Weekenders in both Blackpool and Birmingham.
Away from DJing Sean also writes monthly articles for various Music magazines reviewing artists and albums. For a selection of those articles follow the link: Articles
Sean has also spent time behind the mic presenting his own radio show on numerous student networks, he has also made numerous appearances on local radio.
Along with DJing and Radio work Sean has spent time promoting both events and products working as part of the Soulchoonz crew responsible for the recent Lab Addicts, Josyln and Browns Bag releases. Sean is just about to enter into his final year of university where he is studying Radio and TV Production.
