| Nineteen Year old Sean Livesey has been DJing on the soul scene in the UK now for over six years. Sean is a lover of all things soulful be it Northern Soul & Motown or Disco & Jazz Funk, straight through to new release House, Garage & NU Soul. Sean started DJing at the tender age of 12 and within a short time was offered a monthly residency at a local soul club in Horwich nr Bolton. Although he was at a young age people began realising there was something about this "young kid". His enthusiasm shined through, promoters saw this and rewarded his enthusiasm and talent for DJing with further guest sets at venues around the country. Some of Sean's early sets consisted of a who's who of the top soul nights in the country. Places such as T.S.O.P @ the longfield suite, Prestwich, Lowton Civic hall soul nights, The Bretby All-nighters and many more to numerous to mention. While over in Ibiza Sean met a DJ named Matt Caseli, Matt was and still is one of the resident DJ's in "El - Clelo" (the funky room) at one of Ibiza's top clubs Pacha. Matt is also resident at Ibiza Town's legendary Rock Bar. Matt's style of funky house fused with deep house and a hint of soulful dance influenced Sean's taste in House music no end. Sean hopes that one day he can emulate DJ's like Matt and carry on progressing with the funky & sexy house sound. Things were just getting started for Sean as the media took an interest in him and what he is doing, several articles have been published on Sean. Further guest sets were coming in from around the North West and the Midlands. Then in the early part of 2002 Sean was given the chance of a lifetime, to DJ at the upcoming Togetherness soul weekender at Fleetwood in October. Sean couldn't belive his luck, here he was at 15 years old being offered a chance to DJ at one of the country's biggest soul weekenders. A chance some people in their 30's & 40's would never see. He was thrilled to say the least, Sean performed well that night and impressed many people in the packed crowd who witnessed his set along with Togetherness co - promoter Kev Roberts. Just as Sean didn't think things could get any better this one set led onto more amazing opportunities that care currently taking place now. Sean was asked to DJ at the re-opening of a london all-nighter at The Rocket Complex in Holloway, North London, along with gaining a year's residency at North Manchester Soul Club @ Bury Town Hall which is currently one of THE nights in the North West. Now seventeen and a school leaver Sean's hunger for DJing and success in his chosen career has in no way diminshed it has just got bigger. He is constantly seeking out advice, contacts and more ways for him to further his career in DJing. When people meet Sean the first thing everyone who has met him comments on is his enthusiasm and sheer determintation. They are amazed someone so young has everything planned out so well nad knows exactly what he has to do to get there.
