Sean Livesey began DJing at the age of fourteen, starting his DJing career on the Northern Soul scene in all-nighters and soul nights around the North West. During those early years he played sets across the UK and also debuted at The Togetherness Soul Weekender in Blackpool and became a resident at the short lived all-nighters at The Rocket in London.

Following on from this Sean became a resident at the highly popular North Manchester Soul Club nights a residency which stayed until the nights ended in 2008. In 2004 Sean made his DJing debut in the USA as part of the inaugural Soul Trip USA in Los Angeles.

Despite beginning on the Northern Soul scene Sean is firmly established on the Modern Soul scene and is a resident DJ at the Jazz FM Luxury Soul Weekenders in Blackpool and Birmingham.

In 2007 Sean was the joint headline DJ along with Terry Jones at the Uptight Modern Soul Weekender in Frankfurt, Germany a weekend he returned to in March 2009. Whilst in September 2008 he was part of the DJ line up at the Modern Soul weekender Village Soul Italia.

In addition to his work as a DJ, Sean writes on a regular basis for numerous publications including the Daily Mirror and UK Soul magazine Manifesto. His articles cover everything from album and concert reviews to club and artist features.

Sean has worked as a presenter on various Digital/Internet and local FM stations and now presents a weekly new music show 'After Hours' on London based Digital station Starpoint Radio playing the best in New and Classic Modern Soul.

Away from music Sean can be found urging on his other passion in life Wigan Athletic FC every weekend.
